The 10 Equity Assistance Centers (EACs) are funded by the U.S. Department of Education under Title IV of the 1964 Civil Rights Act.  The EACs assist states, districts, and schools promote equal educational opportunity regardless of race, gender, or national origin and ensure that all schools provide students the opportunity to succeed accademically.
